Semaine Atlas-Atlantique

6 Jours - 7 Nuits

Semaine Atlas-Atlantique

6 Jours - 7 Nuits - 1537 Km - (SAT01)

Program

semaine Atlas-Atlantique

Presentation

This 6-day motorcycle tour offers a complete immersion in Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes, specially designed for motorcycle enthusiasts and lovers of the great outdoors.

This tour combines mountain passes, winding roads through the Atlas and Anti-Atlas ranges, and the Atlantic coastline of Morocco’s western shore.

This trip is first and foremost a relaxing motorcycle getaway in Morocco—not an expedition that leaves you more exhausted than when you started, but a week to recharge your batteries on two wheels.

The week begins with two days of riding in the Atlas Mountains while staying close to Marrakech, including two restful nights at the Flouka on the shores of Lake Lalla Takerkoust; these first two days are meant to help you completely unwind and start recharging.

The following four days continue with a loop that will take us to Essaouira (RM400 road trip), after crossing the Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountains.

Highlights of the trip include the climb to the Tizi N’Test Pass at 2,100 m, a 4-hour-plus crossing of the Anti-Atlas, long rides along the coast, and the discovery of legendary and totally unexpected surf spots.

You’ll ride from the High Atlas to the Anti-Atlas, cross the Tizi N’Test Pass, explore Taroudant and Taghazout, visit the exceptional surf spot of Imsouane with its incredible 1.5-kilometer-long wave, and enjoy a festive evening in Essaouira.

The daily distances are well-balanced, averaging about 240 km per day, allowing you to fully enjoy the ride, the scenery, and the stops along the way.

Exclusive Rider Signature

All our road trips and motorcycle tours are offered on an all-inclusive basis.

With the exception of alcoholic beverages in the evenings at our stops, you won’t have to spend a single penny during your trip.

All your accommodations are in single rooms, for optimal comfort.

And if you snore at night… you won’t disturb anyone!

The package includes full logistical support, luggage transport, and round-the-clock motorcycle technical assistance.

Hotels, riads, and guesthouses are carefully selected for their quality, tranquility, and authenticity.

You’ll enjoy professional guidance, with well-planned itineraries and premium service from start to finish.

Group sizes are intentionally limited to ensure an exclusive and personalized experience.

Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech

Personalized welcome upon arrival at the airport.

Private transfer to your charming, authentic riad, which will be virtually reserved for your group.

Check-in, followed by free time to relax by the pool or explore the surrounding area on foot.

Dinner at the riad and first night in Marrakech

Day 2 - 220 km

Marrakech – Le Flouka via Setti Fatma

First morning in Marrakech and a hearty breakfast at the riad.

Around 8:40 AM, our private driver picks you up directly from the riad to take you to the Rider Maroc base.

At 9:00 AM, arrival at the base and welcome by your guide.

A welcome snack awaits you: tea, coffee, orange juice, dried fruits, and pastries.

Full briefing with your guide: safety instructions, specifics of driving in Morocco, and the road trip itinerary.

Verification of mandatory administrative documents (copy of passports and driver's licenses), then signing of rental and insurance documents.

Selection of helmets and gloves, and familiarization with the motorcycles.

Departure at 10:00 AM at the latest.

Gradual exit from Marrakech, Tahanaout road, then mountain road heading towards the Oukaimden ski resort.

Winding roads, grandiose landscapes, first immersion in the Atlas, and getting a feel for your new motorcycles.

Your guide will take you on a 19km forest path; for 1 hour, you will be "alone in the world" on a very easy off-road track with magical scenery.

Coffee on the forest path (the guide will have brought a thermos), just to have a coffee in a magnificent setting.

Lunch at Setti Fatma, right by the water of the Ourika River (it is an unavoidable and very special Marrakech tourist destination), centered around a first tajine or grilled meats.

Return through the mountains towards Le Flouka, where your suitcases, dropped off by the assistance team, are already waiting for you.

Relaxing evening at Le Flouka after enjoying one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools (one of which is heated year-round), first drinks at the bar by the shores of Lake Lalla Takerkoust.

Day 3 - 220 km

The Flouka – The Sheepfold, Return to the Flouka

After breakfast, we’ll set off for “Ali’s” sheepfold, an authentic sheepfold opened especially for us.

On the agenda for the long morning:

Crossing the Agafay Desert (the only desert in Marrakech, which is a rocky desert).

Passing by the Taskourt Dam and Lake.

Climbing into the mountains toward the sheepfold.

Arrival at the sheepfold around 2:00 PM for lunch.

There, the sheepfold team will be waiting to serve us a meal prepared especially for us, in an authentic setting at an altitude of 2,100 meters.

The return trip will be more relaxed as we head back to Flouka to enjoy another relaxing evening by the lake.

Arrival in Flouka around 5:30 p.m.

These first two days will have allowed you to completely unwind so you can embark on the next four days of the road trip.

Day 4 – 236 km

Flouka → Taroudant (via the Tizi N’Test Pass)

Our 4-day road trip is about to begin.

One last morning in Flouka for a hearty breakfast.

We’ll depart no later than 10 a.m. and head toward the Tizi N’Test Pass.

The climb to the pass takes us along the spectacular roads of the High Atlas.

Once we reach the Tizi N’Test Pass, at an altitude of 2,100 meters, we’re expected for lunch—our first tagine—at our friend Mustapha’s restaurant.

The afternoon unfolds at a more leisurely pace as we descend toward Taroudant.

From the summit, the view of the Souss Valley, nestled between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas ranges, is simply magnificent.

Arrival in Taroudant around 5:30 p.m., check-in at Riad Le Jasmin, a lush oasis with a magnificent pool.

Aperitif, dinner at the riad, and a well-deserved night’s rest after this first day of mountain roads and breathtaking scenery.

Day 5 - 234 km

Taroudant → Taghazout (via the Anti-Atlas)

Wake up at 8:00 a.m. and depart at 8:45 a.m. for downtown Taroudant.

After a short drive, our local guide Ahmed will be waiting to take you on a horse-drawn carriage tour of the city, lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Around 10:30 a.m., tea break in Taroudant, then departure toward Taghazout via the Anti-Atlas.

After about an hour’s drive, we arrive at the foot of the Anti-Atlas mountain range.

The support 4x4, which left ahead of us, is waiting for us in the mountains at a strategic spot offering an exceptional view.

There, the table is set for a 5-star picnic, prepared by the chef from Riad Le Jasmin.

Cold drinks are available, as well as beer for those who wish (to be consumed in moderation).

After this break in the heart of nature, we set off again to cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains toward the Atlantic coast.

On the itinerary: nearly 4 hours of nearly deserted mountain roads, where we’ll encounter very few other vehicles.

The scenery is exceptional: canyons, palm groves, a dam, and rocky landscapes.

Around a bend, the sea suddenly comes into view: a magical moment guaranteed.

Arrival around 5:30 p.m. at our friend André’s place, at the Le Jardin de l’Océan guesthouse, facing the sea.

Aperitif and dinner overlooking the ocean, in a warm atmosphere, with a memorable sunset.

Dinner features a generous barbecue, prepared by the chef, whose menu you will have chosen with us the day before.

Spend the night in your ocean-view rooms, lulled by the sound of the waves if you leave the windows open.

Day 6 - 180 km

Taghazout → Essaouira (via Imsouane and Sidi Kaouki)

The next day, we head to Essaouira along the coastal road.

A coffee break in Imsouane, where we guarantee an unexpected treat: you’ll feel like you’re not in Morocco anymore, but in Australia.

Imsouane is a magnificent bay and a mecca for surfers; it’s a legendary surf spot, with a wave that can roll out for nearly 1.5 km across the entire bay—a truly mind-blowing and utterly improbable sight.

Lunch will be served in Sidi Kaouki at a restaurant with a Spanish ambiance; we’ll be just a few kilometers from Essaouira.

We’ll arrive in the late afternoon, relax by the pool to get ready for the evening (a walking tour of the Essaouira Medina and a festive dinner at the Love by Caravan restaurant).

After this festive evening (singers, musicians, magicians, Moroccan show), a good night’s sleep will be well deserved—even if we go to bed later than usual, our heads will be filled with memories.

Day 7 – 250 km

Essaouira → Marrakech (via the desert plains and the Agafay Desert)

The return trip to Marrakech will take us along small roads through villages and rural landscapes.

Before lunch in Chichaoua, we’ll cross desert plains stretching as far as the eye can see.

Finally, before reaching Marrakech, we’ll skirt the Agafay Desert, arriving at Lake Lalla Takerkoust and then the base.

Return to the base toward the end of the day, marking the end of four days of motorcycling, fun, and camaraderie.

A moment of sharing over a drink at the base’s bar will allow you to relive the highlights of the road trip.

Private transfer to your riad for the final night in Marrakech.

Dinner and overnight stay at the riad.

Day 8 – Return Home

Our private driver will pick you up at the riad 2.5 hours before your scheduled departure time, regardless of your flight time, to take you to the Marrakech airport.

Our greatest reward: seeing you smile at the end of the road trip.

If your flight is delayed, you can leave your luggage at the riad and enjoy one last stroll through Marrakech.
